Z.W.E.I.

Z.W.E.I., also known as "Zwei," is a mysterious and brooding character in the Soulcalibur series, first appearing in Soulcalibur V. He is a tall man with short black hair, silver streaks, and wields a unique arming sword with three handles called Kreuzgriff. Z.W.E.I. has the ability to summon a lupine being named E.I.N. to fight alongside him in battle. He is a member of the Schwarzwind group and was ordered by Siegfried to find a successor worthy of Soul Calibur. Little is known about Z.W.E.I.'s true identity and background, except that he was hunted for interfering with Graf Dumas's "Malfested purge," and once rescued the fortune teller Viola. His fighting style emphasizes coordination with E.I.N., and while not particularly fast, he can inflict high damage. Z.W.E.I.'s fate remains uncertain at the end of Soulcalibur V, as he was betrayed and fell into an abyss after defeating Nightmare.
