Yan Leixia, known in Japanese as イェン・レイシャ, is a character in the Soulcalibur series, making her debut in Soulcalibur V. She is the cheerful daughter of former Soulcalibur wielder, Chai Xianghua, and is often described as a young lady longing for an adventure. Leixia is bubbly, optimistic, and bright, but also quite naive, which can lead her into tense situations due to her tendency to trust people too easily. She has physical features that resemble her mother, such as her facial structure, and a traditional Chinese hairstyle. She wears an elegant outfit inspired by the blue lotus flower and has Kilik's pendant, the Dvapara-Yuga fragment, attached to her collar. Leixia's fighting style is an improvised version of her mother's, focusing on quick attacks and feints, though she is slightly slower but has a longer range. In the story, Leixia runs away from home due to her idealized view of heroism and sets out on her own adventure. Her Chinese name, 'Leixia,' means 'Budding Summer'.
