Jinbei Sugamata

Jinbei Sugamata is a character introduced in the Samurai Shodown series, specifically in Samurai Shodown Sen. He is a retired warrior who once rescued Suzu, a girl he found washed ashore, and raised her as his own daughter. After Suzu met Takechiyo and left, Jinbei embarked on a journey to find her. As a seasoned veteran, Jinbei is a traditionalist loyal to his lord. He cares deeply for Suzu and treats her as a daughter, which conflicts with his family's views. He uses long-range attacks to corner his opponents, and employs a variety of thrusting techniques in combat. His fighting style is somewhat similar to Jin-Emon Hanafusa from Warriors Rage. Jinbei is 72 years old, stands at 5'6", weighs 128 lbs, and has blood type A. He was born on November 26, 1719 in Japan. He loves times of peace and Suzuhime, dislikes things that are hard to bear, has the special skill of meditation, and finds the changing times most unpleasant. His weapon is the spear Kongoh, which he has had for 55 years, and his fighting style is called "Heavenly Spear Wielding Arts."
