Clyde

Clyde is a side character in Stellar Blade, a mysterious fisherman who lives in seclusion near an oasis in the desert. Initially, he keeps his distance from others, but when he sees the protagonist Eve interested in fishing, he begins to talk to her. Clyde is passionate about fishing and makes his living by it. He refuses to associate with any group, choosing instead to fish alone by his hut. After the Colony Extinction, he had a strong hatred for the Mother Sphere, but the beauty of the oasis has given him a new purpose in life. Despite having experienced disaster, Clyde can still find joy in life and even sent Eve, an angel, a swimsuit, calling it a "Fisherman's Dream". He is a laid-back recluse, living in his hut by the desert oasis. After the Colony Extinction, Clyde lived a life full of resentment and anger, but the oasis and fishing calmed his nerves, and now he lives in the present. He is patient and knowledgeable, teaching Eve the secrets of fishing, and pointing her to fishing legends like the Fantastic Bait and the best fishing spots. After the attack on Xion, Clyde realizes his reclusive nature may not be the best, and expresses his willingness to let go of past anger and help rebuild Xion.
