Banzai Bill

Banzai Bill, also known as バッタン in the Super Mario series, is a large variant of Bullet Bill that first appeared in Super Mario World. They are typically depicted as large, black bullets with a shark-like grin, fired from off-screen, and travel slowly in a straight line, posing a threat to Mario or Luigi. Banzai Bills have varied characteristics and behaviors across different games: in some, they can be defeated by jumping or using specific items; in others, they are indestructible and must be avoided. Some games feature them being fired from cannons, and some have the ability to track the player. There are also variations such as the red, homing Bull's-Eye Banzai, and the Gold Banzai Bill from New Super Mario Bros. 2, which leaves a trail of coins. While primarily serving as obstacles or enemies, Banzai Bills have also made cameo appearances in games like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. They are iconic enemies in the Super Mario series, known for their large size and unique firing pattern, making them a memorable challenge for players.
