Mohji (モージ), also known as Mohji the Beast Tamer, is a character in the Japanese manga series *One Piece*. He first appears in the Orange Town Arc. He is the first mate of the Buggy Pirates, and is typically seen with his pet lion, Richie. Mohji is known for his pompous personality and his doting affection for Richie. Although he claims to have the ability to control all animals, this ability is only truly evident with Richie. Mohji primarily relies on Richie in battle, but he also possesses some speed and skill with a whip. He has appeared in different arcs, each time with a different hairstyle, such as a teddy bear hairstyle in the Orange Town Arc and a bunny-eared helmet in the Loguetown Arc. Mohji has also participated in various adventures with the Buggy Pirates, and reunited with Buggy after the Summit War. Later, Mohji joined Buggy's Delivery company and was pardoned after Buggy became a Shichibukai. While not a powerful fighter, Mohji plays an important role within the Buggy Pirates.
