Alvida

Alvida, also known as "Iron Mace" Alvida, is a character in the manga and anime series *One Piece*. She is the first antagonist Luffy encounters after setting sail, initially the captain of the Alvida Pirates. Initially, Alvida was a large, obese woman with an inflated sense of beauty, which she used to abuse her crew. After being defeated by Luffy, she consumes the Sube Sube no Mi (Slip-Slip Fruit), which makes her body incredibly slippery and drastically alters her appearance into a slender and beautiful form. She later allies with Buggy the Clown, forming the Buggy and Alvida Alliance, and becomes a key member of his crew. Alvida remains narcissistic, consistently believing she's the most beautiful woman in the world, even before her transformation. She wields a spiked iron mace as her signature weapon. Her character embodies themes of transformation and the unpredictable nature of fate in the *One Piece* world.
